The 5:55
Party Rock

The 5:55 (pronounced THE-FIVE-FIFTY-FIVE) is an indie rock band from Washington D.C. The band is comprised of musicians Collin Steves (Vocalist/Guitarist), Kevin Goldman (Lead Guitarist), Max Biskup (Bassist), and Ryan Steves (Drummer/Vocalist). The musicians formed The 5:55 while attending college at Radford University and Virginia Tech. Due to the lack of local music venues the band looked to fraternities and sororities for performance opportunities. The overwhelmingly positive response to the band’s high energy “rocked up pop” sets helped them expand to other universities. They have shared the stage with Jesse McCartney, Black Eyed Peas, Buckcherry, and performed at an Imagine Dragons concert. They now call Washington D.C. home while performing up and down the East Coast. ‚Äč The 5:55 just finished recording their first EP with Producer Austin Bello. The EP is set to release early 2019 but is available to you below. Bello is known for playing bass in the band Forever The Sickest Kids and being signed to Universal Music Group. "Marquee" was the first song the band and Bello worked on together and is available now on all streaming outlets. The 5:55 began by covering songs the crowd could sing along to, while playing with as much energy as possible. Their motto for covers is "rockin' up the pop songs and dancin' up the rock songs." The wide variety of covers include Daft Punk, Third Eyed Blind, Jackson 5, The Black Eyed Peas, Jimmy Eat World, and many more. We booked the 5:55 for a punk rock date party and they absolutely killed it. They brought the energy and every single song they played had everyone singing along. I would definitely recommend them.
